Following the successful conclusion of the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup, Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday expressed the government’s desire to take traditional Indian sporting discipline to the world and said a collective effort would be required to get kho kho included in the Asian Games and the 2036 Olympics.

Union Sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya, held a significant meeting with Sebastian Coe, President of World Athletics and Member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), in New Delhi on Monday.
The Union Health Minister also advised senior officials to meet with states for better coordination and understanding.
The bulk drug plants inaugurated on Saturday are located across various states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
In his address after inaugurating the Vivekananda Cancer and Super Speciality Extension Hospital of Vivekanand Medical Foundation and Research Centre in Maharashtra’s Latur, the minister stressed that the world has many health models.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the AIIMS Smart Payment Card will resolve the long pending issue of patients from far flung areas carrying cash with them to the hospital.
Mandaviya made this statement, while delivering keynote address at the 4th convocation in AIIMS Jodhpur in Rajasthan .
