Almost six months after he stoked the controversy over ‘Adipurush’ with his statements, lyricist-writer Manoj Muntashir has apologised for the dialogues he wrote for the film.
His post evoked mixed reactions from netizens as many feel that it is now too late to seek an apology.
The first song of the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer Adipurush -- 'Jai Shri Ram' -- was released on Sunday by the award-winning music composer duo Ajay and Atul Gogavale, better known as Ajay-Atul, with a live orchestra.
Producer Bhushan Kumar says, “All the pieces for this track seamlessly fell into place. The collaboration between Meet Bros and Sachet Parampara and the onscreen pairing of Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat, is a dynamite combination and audiences are going to enjoy Tere Vich Rab Disda.”
He adds that although award-winning lyricists do get due recognition these days, there still exists an ignorance about lyrics writers, which discourages many budding talents to pursue good writing.
The lyricist had earlier this year announced in an emotional tweet that he would not be attending any award ceremony in future.
