Velingkar was ousted from the post of the Goa Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief in 2016 after his critical comments against Parrikar.
"His health is fine. Doctors have advised him rest for two days. After that he will meet party officials, ministers and MLAs," Tendulkar said.
Kamat told the media here that governance in Goa had come to a standstill with Parrikar undergoing treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer in the national capital.
