Sisodia, the AAP nominee from Jangpura Assembly constituency, made the statement after inaugurating his election office in Hari Nagar Ashram.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed a plea filed by senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia seeking relaxation of the bail condition requiring him to report to the Investigating Officer semi-weekly.
Former deputy chief minister has been moved to Jangpura constituency and the AAP has fielded educationist Awadh Ojha, who recently joined the party from the said seat. Sisodia has represented this constituency thrice.
Sisodia has been shifted to the Jangpura constituency, while Patparganj, his previous stronghold, has been assigned to Awadh Ojha.
Sisodia's handwritten letter in Hindi, dated March 15, a day before the general election schedule was announced, also stated that he was receiving letters on a regular basis from across the country.
His second letter from Tihar Jail penned in Hindi surfaced on Friday, in which he compared his imprisonment with those who were put behind bars by the British during the freedom movement.
Earlier Tuesday, the Rouse Avenue court had extended his judicial custody in the ED case till December 11.
Meanwhile, the court voiced its dissatisfaction with the lawyers for not failing to complete Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) compliance as soon as possible in order to begin the case's trial
The Delhi Police third Battalion took Sisodia from Tihar Jail to his home after receiving permission from the Rouse Avenue court.
