In a social media post on 'X' , he said,'' Modi ji, before finger-pointing, please note that - MODI KI GUARANTEE is a cruel joke on 140 Crore Indians!'' The Congress chief said the government's drum-beating regarding a 100-day plan was a cheap PR stunt.
Gandhi along with senior party leaders including Ajay Maken and Rajeev Shukla visited Kharge at his residence here on the occasion. The Congress chief cut a cake in their presence.
Congress President Malikarjun Kharge on Monday extended the heartiest congratulations to Anura Kumara Dissanayake on being elected as the Executive President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

In a post on X, the Congress president accused the Modi government of using dubious employment data which is grossly inflated by counting ‘unpaid labour’ and ‘one-hour work per week’.
In his reaction to the development on Wednesday, Kharge wrote in a post on X, "India’s pride, Vinesh Phogat, defeated world champions but has been disqualified due to technical reasons."
The Congress president highlighted a portion of the editorial in an X post, reading: “There is no evidence that the Prime Minister has come to terms with the electoral outcome or has reflected on the message sent to him by voters”.
On the new prime minister, Kharge categorically said the choice would be based on consensus among the constituents of the coalition.
The Congress is determined to make India the manufacturing powerhouse that produces goods and services for itself and the world, says the Congress chief.
