These 17 urban local bodies in the state are, Asansol, Bankura, Purulia, Birbhum, Burdwan, Siliguri, jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Dinajpur, Malda, Murshidabad, West Midnapore, Murshidabad, Malda, Nadia, Hooghly, East Midnapore etc.

"The factionalism in the Trinamul Congress is increasing day by day. The party will end in this factional conflict," district BJP president Gobinda Chandra Mandal said, mockingly.
According to sources, the area was shaken by the explosion this morning, while police went to the spot and recovered several crude bombs later.
However, the district police started taking strict action against the opium growers later, while the chiefs and members of every gram panchayat were issued strict warnings and asked to see that the cultivation was not done.
