Condemning the act, Cedric O France's Secretary for Digital Sector had urged Twitter to suspend the account of the former Malaysian prime minister.
The announcement was entirely due to the decision by the High Court earlier in the day on the application by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and three others to strike out a suit by Mahathir and four other people.

At the ripe old age of 94 and once the world's oldest leader, Mahathir has raised questions over his legitimacy amidst nationwide protests.
