Party's Maharashtra in-charge, Ramesh Chennithala, has demanded the immediate arrest of BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, who was allegedly caught red-handed distributing money to voters in Vasai Virar.
Tawde denied the accusations, stating, “I had stopped on my way to discuss the polling process and code of conduct with our candidate.”
There is a direct fight in Maharashtra between the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and Mahayuti.
Sule, a prominent opposition leader, was reportedly traveling to address election rallies in the area when the officials checked her belongings.
He said that he can guarantee that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never read the Constitution.
He said the BJP's approach towards both states shows their desperation following setbacks in the 2024 Lok Sabha election where they used "buffaloes and mangalsutra" to seek votes.
Raut also questioned the impartiality of the Election Commission (EC), claiming that significant amounts of cash have been funneled to the constituencies of CM Eknath Shinde and his deputies -- Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis.
Sule has stated that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) backed reservation for Muslims and for Lingayats, emphasising that this is not a new sentiment.
"Leaders of the Congress and 'Maha Vinash Aghadi' continue to push a fake narrative through their trolling ecosystem," Goyal said.
