Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole met Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, in Delhi on Monday and sources here have indicated that the party is likely to replace him as Maharashtra Congress chief with a younger face, taking election-related caste arithmetic into consideration.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) should release the video footage of polling stations where the voting purportedly increasedleading to a sudden and major increase in 76 lakh votes, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole has demanded.
Besides, the All India Congress Committee, the Maharashtra and Mumbai verified Congress handles of Congress Legislative Party leader and Revenue minister Balasaheb Thorat, Mumbai Congress president Bhai Jagtap, state party social media head Abhijeet Sapkal, and around 500 other leaders at various levels have been blocked on Twitter.
