Construction engineering major Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) on Tuesday said it shut the principal quarter of FY23 with a lower net in contrast with the relating time of the earlier year.
The corporate stamp was unveiled by Sharada Sampath, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle, in the presence of S.N. Subrahmanyan, CEO and MD, Larsen and Toubro, Arvind K. The engineering and construction company did not provide the exact value of the contract, but as per its project classification, "large" orders are those valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.
On the broader market, the S&P MidCap and SmallCap index ended 1.6 per cent and 0.76 per cent higher respectively.
L&T takes pride on being at the forefront of creating projects and products, some of the largest, biggest, and longest in the world all made in India, it said.
