Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday emphasised the need for a reduction in logistics costs from the current around 14 to 16 per cent to 10 per cent with "cooperation, coordination and communication" among stakeholders.
The report noted that the current logistics cost of India is 14 per cent of GDP, while in the US and Europe, it ranges between 8-10 per cent.
