Shah Rukh Khan, celebrated icon of Indian cinema, to be honored with the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera at the 77th Locarno Film Festival for his outstanding contributions to film.
Starting with the 2023 edition, the Locarno Film Festival is switching to gender-neutral categories. The prestigious Swiss festival honouring global indie cinema is following in the footsteps of the Berlin Film Festival, which presented its first award for gender-neutral performance in 2021.
