Man kills live-in partner in SW Delhi over suspicion of affair
A 27-year-old woman was killed by her live-in partner in the Munirka area of South West Delhi over suspicion of having an affair, police said on Saturday.
A 27-year-old woman was killed by her live-in partner in the Munirka area of South West Delhi over suspicion of having an affair, police said on Saturday.
According to the police, they received a call on Saturday night, wherein the caller stated that his sister was allegedly strangled by an auto rickshaw driver, with whom she was in a live-in-relationship.
Prior to the murder, the deceased transgender person had assaulted the accused transgender and fled with two customers in a Baleno car.
As per the police, the man is admitted to a local hospital and is out of danger and the accused woman has been arrested.
On December 2, 2022, a team of the Crime Branch arrested the accused Manpreet Singh, aged 45 years and resident of Sangam Apartment, Paschim Vihar East, New Delhi from his native village Alipur, Chintawala, Nabha, District Patiala, Punjab.
The accused has been identified as Manpreet, a resident of Paschim Vihar East, New Delhi.
After committing the gruesome murder, the accused chopped and disposed 35 pieces of the body at different places in and around the city. He is said to have been inspired by web series like Dexter.
