The High Court on June 21, 2024, had granted interim stay on the bail while reserving its order on Directorate of Enforcement’s plea.
The Delhi High Court said it would pass the order in two to three days with regard to the ED's plea regarding stay, as it reserved the order after hearing the arguments.
The move comes a day after the Supreme Court refused to allow urgent listing of his plea seeking extension of interim bail.
Refusing to list Kejriwal’s plea for urgent hearing, the top court registry said, “Since the Chief Minister was given liberty to move to the trial court for regular bail, the plea is not maintainable.”
Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party said that the Delhi CM has been advised to undergo PET-CT scan and other medical tests.
Special judge of the Rouse Avenue court directed the Tihar jail administration to produce Kejriwal through virtual conferencing on May 7.
The Rouse Avenue Court sent Kejriwal to judicial custody in the money laundering case till April 23.
Kejriwal is currently lodged in Tihar jail under judicial custody, which will also expire on April 15.
