Referring to the Chinese official media organization, Global Times, the spokesman said it “reports that India’s Operational Logistics is not geared up adequately and will not be able to fight through winters effectively. This can best be attributed to ignorance. Indian Army is fully prepared and more than capable for fighting a full-fledged war even in winters in Eastern Ladakh”.
The two ministers agreed that both sides should take guidance from the consensus reached by leaders of the two countries on developing India-China relations, and ensure differences do not become disputes.
'At no stage has the Indian Army transgressed across the LAC or resorted to use of any aggressive means, including firing,' Indian Army said.
'The Chinese border guards were forced to take countermeasures to stabilise the situation,' a PLA spokesperson said.
India’s Defence Ministry said China's actions, including the amassing of a large number of troops aggressive behaviour and attempts to unilaterally alter the status quo, were in violation of bilateral agreements.
