Rajasthan: Leopard found dead after attack on man in Udaipur
A man-eating leopard in Udaipur's jungles, who had attacked a farmer in the nearby village, was found dead on Friday with an injury mark on its neck, forest officials said.

The Authorities have issued shoot-at-sight orders in case the teams of the Wildlife department are unable to trap and tranquilise the big cat. The whole forest area is being monitored with two drone cameras.
The big cat was later rescued by the Forest Department with the help of DFS, while the injured were rushed to the hospital.
Central India recorded the highest population with Madhya Pradesh having 3,907 leopards.
A leopard trapped in a wire fence in a private garden in the Thitukkal area near Nilgiri Uthai was rescued after a 6-hour struggle.
The residents have been warned by forest officials to stay indoors and go outside only in groups.
The poaching of these protected animals has shot up in Odisha with the seizure of around 50 leopard skins in the last two years. Of the seizures, the STF alone has accounted for the seizure of 28 skins. AS per official estimate, the leopard population in Odisha stands close to 800.
The arrested persons are being interrogated. It is being investigated to ascertain whether they were part of an organized wildlife trophy smuggling racket.
The forest department has initiated an inquiry to identify those visible in the video. A case has also been registered against farm owner Vipin Kumar.
