A Sangeet Natak Akademi laureate (2018), Wadkar, 68, will be presented with a cash prize, a commendation and a memento as part of the award at a ceremony later, an official said.

She recorded her songs in over 36 regional Indian and foreign languages. She is known as the 'Queen of Melody' and 'India's Nightingale'.
'Naam Reh Jaayega' features India's biggest voices paying tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, whose voice filled generations of music lovers with emotion and hope.
Apart from this, the makers have some unseen visuals in store for the audience as well which will take you on an emotional voyage back in time.
Conceived and directed by Gajendra Singh, Saibaba Studios' 'Naam Reh Jaayega' is starting from May 1 at 7 pm on Star Plus.
