"Contrary to reports that Tej Pratap was missing, he is in Varanasi and in touch with few of his close supporters," a party official told IANS here.
He said the separation has been sought to invoke Section 13 A of the Hindu Marriage Act under which either spouse can unilaterally seek a divorce.
