Ashish is the main accused in the incident wherein a vehicle belonging to the Union minister allegedly mowed down four farmers during a protest against the now-repealed agricultural laws.
Train services were affected in both states due to the protest. However, there was no report of any untoward incident.
The farmers are demanding the dismissal and arrest of Union minister Ajay Mishra Teni for his alleged involvement in the October 3 incident in Lakhimpur Kheri.
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha will protest against the lack of action against Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni, who is accused in the Lakhimpur incident.
The judicial commission will have its office in Lakhimpur Kheri and it is required to submit its report within two months.
Mishra, whose son Ashish Mishra is in the line of fire over his alleged involvement in the Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri case, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence on Wednesday first time after the incident which occurred on October 3.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday here, Rahul Gandhi said, "Section 144 is not imposed for three people and only three persons will go to meet the bereaved families."
The apex court was reacting to an incident whereby eight people, including four farmers, were killed in violent protests in an Uttar Pradesh district.
“Uttar Pradesh is the naya J&K”, tweeted Omar as the row escalated over the incident in which eight people were killed after a union minister’s son allegedly ran his vehicle over a group of protesting farmers.
