In the hearing that convened two weeks after the previous session, the apex court said it appears the evidence gathered in the lynching FIR was being collected to protect a particular accused.
Mishra was sent back to jail after a video clip showed him walking around under the custody of jail officials at the district hospital in Lakhimpur Kheri.
Ashish who was taken on police remand on Friday had complained of fever and his blood reports on Saturday confirmed that he was suffering from dengue.
According to farmer leaders, Yadav has accepted his mistake. Now he can be a part of the movement during the month, but will not attend any official meetings or activities.
A bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and comprising Justices Surya Kant and Hima Kohli said: "We are not satisfied with the action taken by the state".
It emphasised that media should verify facts before putting out any information, adding: "We are sorry to observe that somebody is exceeding the limit of freedom of speech". The bench said these are all false representations.
The apex court asked the UP government to specify the action taken and details of the eight who were killed on Sunday during a protest against Union Minister Ajay Mishra's visit.
As per some sources from the party, the omission of the two leaders has been stated as a "routine exercise".
The video, which has gone viral on social medial, is said to have been taken on October 3, the day on which violence took place in Lakhimpur Kheri.
