The victim's plea submitted that after the passing of the above interim bail order, the Applicant/victim has been receiving information that the Appellant/ Senger is going to harm her and her family after being released from prison.
Earlier on Monday, Kuldeep Singh Sengar was granted interim bail, in the 2017 Unnao rape case, for his daughter's wedding. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma granted him interim bail from January 27 to February 10, 2023.
Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is a convict in the 2017 case of rape of a minor in Unnao, has sought interim bail for his daughter's wedding on February 8, 2023, whose ceremonies will start in January.
Lamba had tweeted that Kuldeep Singh had got the bail from the court at the behest of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
According to a notification, Sengar, who was elected from Bangarmau constituency in Unnao, has been disqualified as per the rules following his conviction by a Delhi court.
BJP MP and spokesperson GVL Narsimha Rao said that there is no place for any person in the party who is facing serious charges.
The court further directed the Uttar Pradesh state government to pay compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the rape survivor and her family and ordered CRPF protection.

Earlier, family members of the Unnao rape victim, in a letter to CJI Ranjan Gogoi on July 12 had stated that the kin of accused threatened them to settle case otherwise they would be implicated in false cases.
The Supreme Court today, is set to hear on a letter written by the Unnao rape survivor to the CJI dated July 12, two weeks before the accident.
