The protest in Shimla was organised in front of the DC office in which State Congress chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore and Shimla (Rural) MLA Vikramaditya Singh participated among others.
Talking to the media, Rathore said Union Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Piyush Goyal launched the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana from a luxurious hotel in Shimla which was a sheer waste of public funds.

He urged the state government to save farmers of Himachal from the loot of Adani group and this year, the group had reduced the purchase price of apples by Rs 16 which had adversely impacted Rs 5,000 crore apple market of the state.
