This came after the ED retrieved deleted WhatsApp chats of Rhea Chakraborty's mobile phone that was seized for a money-laundering probe in the sensational case.
The ED has registered a case of money laundering on the basis of the Bihar Police FIR filed on the complaint of K K Singh.
At Tuesday's hearing, Vikas Singh said, “I am from Patna and without my son I have no one to light my funeral pyre” quoting KK Singh.
However, Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh said the family didn’t raise any suspicion when the city police recorded their statements on June 16.
ED has sought details of the case including the copy of First Information Report (FIR) filed by the deceased actor’s father, KK Singh, this week.
