North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has referred to South Korea as "a foreign country and an apparent hostile country", warning that physical force will be used if North Korea's sovereignty is violated, state media reported on Friday.
He was reacting to Mamata Banerjee's "if you burn Bengal, then Assam, north east, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Delhi too shall burn!" remarks.
According to Korean Central News Agency Kim Jong Un, attended the test launch of the solid fuel-powered Hwasong-16 missile in a Pyongyang suburb and claimed all missiles his country has developed are now based on solid fuel technology and are capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

Kim had also wished Xi "good health" and expressed conviction that "the Chinese party and people would cement the successes made so far and steadily expand them and thus win a final victory under the wise guidance of Xi Jinping"
Kim's message sincerely wished the President and people of Russia sure victory in their struggle to build a powerful Russia by carrying forward the tradition of the great victory in the war and to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection.
Last week, Kim made his first public appearance since speculation about his health began last month, cutting the ribbon at the opening of a fertilizer factory.
Kim's sister and his close adviser Kim Yo Jong also attended the ceremony.
