At least 12 Indian nationals have died while serving the Russian Army in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed on Friday.
The incident came to light following a PCR call to Fatehpur Beri police station about a dead body found in a vacant plot in Ayanagar.
Emergency services rushed the injured to the nearby hospital, but three students, all from class 9, succumbed to their injuries.

An official quoting the preliminary findings of the postmortem -- done by veterinarians of the medical board in Ranthambore on Monday-- said "The post-mortem revealed that the tiger was killed by a mob of villagers."
Suspense prevailed over the fate of the Ranthambhore tiger T-86 well known as Chirico who is believed to have killed a shepherd in the area adjoining the national park on Saturday.
According to the police, they received a call on Saturday night, wherein the caller stated that his sister was allegedly strangled by an auto rickshaw driver, with whom she was in a live-in-relationship.
The incident was reported on the day of Diwali, they said, adding the deceased's son sustained injuries in the incident.
According to the police, the incident took place on October 29, when Ram Parkash along with Deepak were decorating the factory ahead of Diwali.
