"She is suffering from arm and leg pain. Her fingers are still bent while she is suffering from diabetes as well," Selima said.
Earlier on Thursday, the Home ministry had sent an order for Khaleda's release to the prison authorities, after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave the go-ahead.
The two graft cases involve the Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust.
In April this year, the High Court had accepted Khaleda's appeal, challenging a trial court verdict.
On October 14, the HC rejected the revision petition of Zia and cleared the way for the trial court to continue with its proceedings.
A Dhaka court will announce its verdict on former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case on October 29.
The 2004 grenade blasts killed 24 people and injured 500.
