Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should respond to the allegations raised in connection with the gold smuggling centred around Calicut International Airport at Karipur.
The vice-chancellors of various universities in the state spent Rs 1.13 crore to fight cases against the governor for revoking their appointments using university funds in the Supreme Court and the High Court.
Speaking to media persons in Kochi on Saturday, Governor Khan said he is not aware of the foreign tour of chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and thanked the media persons for informing him about it.
