Eldhose Kunnappilly, informed the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leadership, which had sought an explanation from him that he was innocent and the case was fabricated. The MLA has stated that the case was politically motivated.
K Sudhakaran, in the course of an interview, had suggested that politicians from southern Kerala cannot be trusted.
This is being done to finalise the list of office bearers of the party's state unit. K.C. Venugopal, the Congress National Organizing Secretary and MP, is part of the discussions.
