It is the duty of every government to ensure that welfare schemes reach every citizen, but going by AAP chief’s tone he is posing as if he was doing a “charity”, the Delhi BJP chief pointed out.
Addressing a press conference here, senior leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the AAP had come to power in the State on the promise of eradicating the drug menace within one month.
Former Delhi Chief Minister and National convenor of AAP on Friday gave a clarion call to newly elected Sarpanches of the state to hold Gram Panchayats in their respective villages accountable for making every decision in full public view to ensure transparency in development works.
According to Gupta, the CVC has forwarded the complaint to the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for further investigation, with assurances that appropriate action will be taken based on the factual report.
The complaint is said to be over an alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
Kejriwal said this while being taken to the Rouse Avenue court for his appearance.
Reportedly, the court has sought ED's response on the plea moved by Kejriwal, where he has challenged multiple summons issued to him by the ED in connection with the liquor policy case.
The Special PMLA Court, New Delhi remanded her for ED custodial interrogation for a period of seven days till March 23.
The party has called the summons 'illegal.'
