Conspiracy suspected in murder of Dalit activist

Superintendent of Police, Sirmaur, Rohit Malpani said the three accused who had been arrested confessed to their crime of killing the RTI activist for taking up the cases of SCs.
Holding protest that lasted till the wee hours of Sunday morning, they also demanded police security, compensation of Rs 20 lakh and government job for the victim’s family and arrest of all the accused involved in the murder.
Kedar Singh Jindan was allegedly murdered on Friday afternoon, while he was returning home in Bhakras in Sirmaur district.
