Former Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav on Tuesday joined the BJP in the presence of Maharashtra Minister and state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule in Mumbai.
Kedar received his maiden call-up to the national team for the ODIs against Bangladesh in June 2014 but he had to wait till November that year to get his first international cap, making his debut against Sri Lanka in Ranchi.
In IPL 2019, Jadhav scored just 162 runs from 14 matches at an average of 18 with a strike rate of 95.85. Despite the right-hander failing to impress, CSK retained him for the 2020 season.

Jadhav credited Dhoni for the improvement in his game despite a stop-start career because of injury.
