There is a possibility of devotees being trapped in the landslide but there was no immediate confirmation on this.
The order has been issued by the DM by virtue of powers vested under section 163 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

In the first week, there shall be a cap of 2,000 pilgrims each day, of which 1,900 would be from Jammu and Kashmir and the remaining 100 from outside.
Chief executive officer of Shrine Board, Ramesh Kumar, also asked the domestic pilgrims having symptoms like cough, high fever and breathing problems to reschedule or postpone their visit to the holy shrine.
He also had food at the Langar (community kitchen) being run by the Shrine Board on the Tarakote Marg.
Several important decisions were taken in the meeting for further extending better facilities to the pilgrims on the 13 km long yatra route.
As regards Solid Waste Management, a chain of Sewage Treatment Plants has been installed at various establishments to ensure discharge of treated effluents from the toilet blocks.
