Meanwhile, the Bengaluru City Crime Branch police have registered a case in this connection.
The matter relates to the protest that was organised to demand the resignation of then Minister KS Eshwarappa following a suicide case.
Siddaramaiah said on Saturday that a high-level committee formed to review the internal reservation for Scheduled Castes is "nothing more than a ploy to mislead" the Dalit community.
The swearing-in ceremony scheduled to be held at Bengaluru's Kanteerava Stadium at around 12:30 PM.
Kumaraswamy had subsequently met the representatives of the committee, and in an attempt to pacify them had promised several steps.
"Information will be obtained from farmers as well. Loan details obtained will be verified in order to benefit all the eligible farmers," he added.
"With more southwest monsoon rains forecast till September, we are worried if the plantations will be further affected," observed Gowda.
