Kapil Dev, according to the Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute Hospital in south Delhi on Friday, was in the ICU and would be discharged in a couple of days.
He was admitted to the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in South Delhi after suffering a cardiac arrest last Thursday, following which he had undergone angioplasty surgery as a treatment.
Kapil Dev is stable and would be discharged in a couple of days, said the hospital. Angioplasty is a procedure to restore blood flow through the artery.
