The PIA official said that permission to land at the Kabul airport has been granted by Afghanistan's Civil Aviation Authority.
Videos shared on social media show that dozens of vehicles, helicopters, military equipment, and facilities at the Kabul Airport have been destroyed, the report said.

The US embassy in Kabul also issued a new warning on Sunday about a "specific, credible threat" near the Kabul airport and asked Americans to "immediately" leave areas outside the airport gates.
The US Embassy in Kabul sent out an alert early Thursday, asking US citizens not to travel to the airport "because of security threats outside the gates", The New York Post reported.
The British military on Sunday acknowledged the seven deaths of civilians in the crowds. There have been other stampedes and crushing injuries in the crowds, especially as Taliban fighters fire into the air to drive away those desperate to get on any flight out of the country.
The reports also said that these Indians were taken to the nearby area of the Alokozai compound, a garage designated for US forces, as there was a huge rush at the airport and the Taliban allegedly inspected their documents and released them.
