Earlier, Kavitha was arrested by the CBI from Tihar jail on April 11 and remanded to the probe agency's custody till April 15.
Her regular bail application is pending before a Delhi court and the matter will be heard on April 20.
Special Judge Kaveri Baweja, while sending her to Tihar Jail for 14 days, also fixed hearing on her interim bail plea for April 1, 2024.
Kavitha alleged that the case against her was false and fabricated.
K. Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on Tuesday appeared before Enforcement Directorate (ED) here for the third round of questioning in connection with the Delhi Excise policy scam.
Kavitha appeared before ED on Monday after the federal agency on March 16, issued a fresh summon to the BRS leader to join its ongoing investigation in the case.

On Thursday, her second round of questioning had to be done which she skipped saying that she would reply through emails or question her at her own residence.
ED has asked the MLC to appear again before it on March 16, but she did not appear citing that her plea is pending in SC.
