India extends flood data sharing with Bangladesh beyond 15 October
The decision was announced after the 38th meeting of the ministerial-level Joint Rivers Commission (JRC) of India and Bangladesh which was held in New Delhi yesterday.

Noting that India and Bangladesh share 54 common rivers which directly impact the livelihood of people in the two countries, both sides commended the close cooperation that exists between India and Bangladesh in the matter.
