India, Japan conduct 6th edition of maritime exercise ‘JIMEX’

The IN, under the command of RAdm Ajay Kochhar, Flag Officer Commanding Western Fleet, participated with indigenous Guided Missile Destroyer, INS Kochi (with Sea King MK 42B helicopter) and the Guided Missile Frigate INS Teg (with SAR capable Chetak helicopter).
JS Kaga, an Izumo-class helicopter destroyer, and JS Inazuma, a guided-missile destroyer, will participate in the JIMEX with the ships of Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy from 7 to 15 October.
