The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly countered Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s demand for ₹1.36 lakh crore in pending dues, accusing him of misinterpreting the Supreme Court’s order to mislead the public.
Soren, 49, was administered the oath by Governor Santosh Gangwar at Morabadi Maidan in Ranchi.
Geeta has reportedly been provided with financial assistance of Rs 50,000 from the district administration in addition to the monthly stipend of Rs 3,000.
It was the first meeting of Soren with the PM after he sworn-in as the Chief Minister of state on December 29.
The oath was administered by Governor Droupadi Murmu at Morabadi ground, Ranchi.
