Singer-actor Selena Gomez is facing more heat than ever, as a Jewish organisation has called her ‘a coward’, who is demonising the people of Israel by refusing to comment on atrocities committed by Hamas due to peer pressure.
Israel Permanent Representative to United Nations, Gilad Erdan slammed Hamas calling it a "modern-day Nazis". He said that Hamas is interested in the annihilation of the Jewish people.
“The Jewish identity of the State of Israel is our right to exist here,” Ms Silman has been quoted as saying by The Jerusalem Post. “Injury [to that] without any regard for the public and for the values I represent, is a red line for me.”
The Jewish event that calls for exultation is instead being observed in isolation at homes than in the Kolkata synagogues which now stand as silent observers at Canning Street and Pollock Street in the northern part of the city.
