Tracking gold, silver ready rallied Rs 450 to Rs 37,900 per cent and weekly-based delivery by Rs 452 to Rs 36,671 per kg.
Silver followed suit and recovered by Rs 20 to Rs 39,500 per kg due to increased offtake from industrial units and coin makers.
Traders said gold rose on increased buying by local jewellers to meet the ongoing festive season demand and a firm global trend.
