Amid the ongoing trials, Noida International Airport at Jewar in Greater Noida on Monday conducted its first-ever trial flight landing successfully, marking an important milestone in India's aviation sector.
Singh informed that the work at the Jewar Airport will be completed by September 2024.
The much-awaited project is being flagged off just weeks before schedule of the UP Assembly elections are announced.
He also said Rs 250 crore has been set aside for the "One District, One Product" scheme.
