After JEDI win, Microsoft pushes Cloud package outside US: Report

Amazon was thought to be the favourite to win the contract, but Microsoft won the Pentagon contract, worth $10 billion over 10 years.

The Cloud computing giant said that it lost the lucrative project due to political influence.

In October, the Pentagon awarded the cloud computing project-JEDI to Microsoft.

Microsoft is set to begin its work on the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) Cloud contract from February 11.

The 10-year contract for the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure, also known as JEDI, had initiated a showdown among other tech giants.
