A Delhi court on Monday posted for August 21 Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat’s defamation complaint filed against Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for ‘misleading statements’ against him in connection with the Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society scam.
Claiming that riverbank erosion was "widespread throughout the course of the Ganges in West Bengal", Chowdhury wrote, "(A) Very large chunk of fertile land has been completely wiped out and thousands of people have been displaced in Samsher Ganj."
