External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday alleged that Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi ''deliberately spoke a falsehood'' about his visit to the United States in December 2024.
"A recognition of PM Modi's leadership and commitment in furthering partnerships with the Global South. Also underlines the special ties of friendship between India and Nigeria," he said in a post on X.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday called for effectively addressing conflicts and tensions and appealed to the global community to show 'zero tolerance' to terrorism.
Modi said Raisi's contribution to strengthening India-Iran bilateral relationship will always be remembered.
Mr Jaishankar will meet Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and hold discussions on bilateral, regional and global issues.
Putin also invited PM Modi to visit Russia next year.
The minister said that extremist forces working against India should not be given space in foreign countries.
The suspension of visa services came in the backdrop of a major diplomatic row between India and Canada over the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen.
“Exchange of experiences, sharing of best practices, greater awareness and deeper collaboration are part of the solutions,” he said at a news conference after the 23rd IORA Council of Ministers’ meeting in Colombo.
