Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday said that the "Sukh Ki Sarkar," which claims to bring about a change in the system, has stopped the grants for government schools.

Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Jai Ram Thakur said that the appointment of CPSs by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was an unconstitutional decision taken in a dictatorial manner.
He stated that in Covid pandemic under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Centre government ensured that there wasn’t any shortage of health facilities in the country.
He was appointed in charge for Atal Tunnel Rohtang and he ensured its timely completion by urging the Central government to finish the construction as soon as possible.
The dates for by-elections had been declared by the Election Commission of India and the BJP was making preparations to contest the elections that were scheduled to be held on 30 October and the candidates for bypolls will be declared soon: Thakur
“Congress party’s situation is similar to Punjab throughout the country as the party neither has any issue nor any policy,” he added.
Interacting with locals in the Seraj assembly segment, Thakur said the present government had achieved such milestones in development which the previous Congress governments including six-time CM Virbhadra Singh weren’t able to achieve.
