Nuri Aslan elected as acting Mayor of Istanbul after Imamoglu’s arrest

The Istanbul City Council elected Nuri Aslan from the opposition party as acting Mayor on Wednesday, following the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, the Istanbul Municipality announced.
