Ganemat Sekhon won silver, while Darshna Rathore won bronze, as India for the first time won two senior individual medals in women's skeet at an International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup stage.
India added two more medals to their tally on Day-2 of the ongoing ISSF World Cup after Rhythm Sangwan and Varun Tomar won 10m Air Pistol mixed team silver and Narmada Nithin & Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil took bronze in Air Rifle mixed team event, here on Thursday.
On the final day on Wednesday, the Indian trio of Anish Bhanwala, Vijayveer Sidhu and Sameer won silver in the Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol (RFP) Team event, going down to the Czech Republic 15-17 in a nerve-wracking final at the Changwon International Shooting range.
Anish, Vijayveer and Sameer will be in contention in the RFP Team event on Wednesday after having shot well on day nine to rank second in the first stage of qualifying.
What looked like a tricky encounter turned out to be a rather easy outing for the Indian as he dominated the proceedings to win the encounter 17-9.
This was India's second gold in the Baku World Cup after the women's air rifle team had won one earlier. India also have three silver from the tournament and ended second behind South Korea.
In the process, Manu also became only the second Indian shooter after Heena Sidhu to win a gold medal in women's 10m Air Pistol event at the ISSF World Cup.
Across all four ISSF World Cup stages this year, India won 16 gold, four silver and two bronze medals in 2019.
The 20-year-old has become only the third Indian shooter after Apurvi Chandela and Anjali Bhagwat to win a senior ISSF World Cup gold in the 10m Air Rifle event.
