International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra from Dec 7 to 24
Addressing a Press conference, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said this year, Assam will actively participate as a partner state in the International Gita Mahotsav.

"Gita inspires people to perform their duty properly, do virtuous deeds and follow social systems and the solution to all the problems", CM.
The President will also be the chief guest at the 18th convocation of the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.
Gita Park will be built within the area of 3.75 acres and Shri Krishna-Arjuna Rath will also be established on the lines of Kurukshetra in this park.
Joint performances of national and international artists and craftsmen will be seen in this craft fair which will be held on the banks of Brahma Sarovar at Kurukshetra.
Giving more information in this regard, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kurukshetra Development Board, Gagandeep Singh said that the Board had sought permission from the Ministry of Tourism for the usage of the logo’ in the ‘International Gita Mahotsav’ event.
Stating this, an official spokesperson said on the fourth day of International Gita Mahotsav, folk artists from Punjab, Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir entertained tourists.
