Driven by rural demand ahead of the festive season, the Indian smartphone market grew 9 per cent in the July-September period, shipping 47.1 million units, according to a new report.
"The newly-launched Redmi Note 7S continues the company's strong legacy with a powerful 48MP+5MP rear camera system, offering Mi Fans the opportunity to capture and enjoy excellent images in addition to its array of amazing features," said Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India.
Industry sources told IANS on Monday that the power-packed itel smartphone is likely to be launched below Rs 5,000. On the other hand, the 2GB and 16GB Redmi 6A are currently priced at Rs 5,999.
